FAQ

The Pahlavani (Persian Yoga) workshops will present you to the systematic use of Meel, Shena, Sang and Kabbadeh as per the Zurkhaneh (house of strength) curriculum. A great place to start is the Fundamentals workshop or perhaps an online coaching session to develop your strength and skills.

You will at least need a Shena and a pair of Meel. If you wish to learn the Sang (optional) you will need that too. The course manuals and instructional videos are highly recommended and can help you learn on your own with some trial and error. The Workshops and Coaching sessions are designed to facilitate and to fast-track your learning experience.

I’m not self-taught. Nor did I learn from YouTube. I have spent over a decade learning these arts from the greatest masters in the oldest Zurkhaneh (temples) all across Iran. I have distilled this ancient wisdom with my scientific knowledge of the human body, movement and Chiropractic and my 20+ years experience as a martial arts and yoga coach. I will guide you to avoid the pitfalls so you can more readily reap the benefits from the practice of Persian Yoga.

The workshops will teach you the systematic practice of Persian Yoga. Package of sessions.

The coaching sessions focus on finetuning and honing your skills or teaching you new ones. Single sessions.

The online workshops are a one on one coaching session via video chat (Skype or WhatsApp) where I demonstrate, discuss, assess and give feedback on your practice. The sessions are ca. one hour weekly sessions for six weeks.

The workshops have an optional assessment component at no extra cost. You need to pass the assessment if you’d like to teach the arts.
