Meel provide resistance throughout the range of shoulder circumduction in true integrated multi-planar dynamic movement under load, or circular strength training.

Meel are swung in fluid, circular movements across all three planes of motion simultaneously. This requires and develops great skill, forges 3D strength, leads to increased integration of breath with movement and enhances concentration and rhythm. Swinging Meel is a very meditative experience.

Because of its unique handmade shape, that has been refined over millennia, swinging authentic Persian Meel feels unlike and is different to any other club.

Because of its shape, hand-made and refined over millenia, Meel are superb for swinging in circular movements and are amazingly difficult to master. Compared to Indian Clubs, Meel are a unique technical and strength challenge.

Meel give a more intense and challenging workout and are excellent for building grip, core and shoulder strength.

Meel are more useful for martial artists and those who want tremendous grip strength.

The practice with Meel provide a more all over body exercise and develop greater connective tissue tensile strength.

The higher density metallic, cylindrically shaped, and dimensionally smaller clubbell has its centre of mass closer to the body and hand and is easier and less challenging to manoeuvre, requiring less skill to master.

Using the same weight Meel, vis-à-vis Clubbells, requires and develops more Force, Work and Kinetic Energy.

Not merely used as a weight, the Meel is used for developing a range of skills and includes a greater movement repertoire.

The lesser comparable mass of the Meel exerts lesser forces on the joints and are more benign and conducive to sustainable long-term joint health.

The bottom heavy teardrop shaped Meel creates a more significant pendulum effect which lends itself perfectly to more graceful swinging, fluid and rhythmic circular movements.

Everything you can do with the Mace you can also do with the Meel, and much and more, with over 60 different exercises and variations.

Meel are held single-handedly and can be swung independently of each other in synchronous and asynchronous ranges and planes of motion enabling ambidexterity and cross-dominance.

Meel develops superhuman strength in six degrees of freedom of movement.

The father of clubs

Persian Pahlavan Savaran cataphract warrior knight

For a heavily armed Persian knight, a Pahlavan, a mace was as effective as a sword or battle axe.

Historically Meel was used for practising and developing the strength and skill required for handling various handheld weapons like maces, axes, hammers and lances.

The Meel serves as a weapon replacement tool used for martial arts strength conditioning.

The Meel is the father of all clubs. Most modern clubs are inspired by the Meel and fashioned after it.

The club, which the Meel is derived from, is humankind’s oldest tool and Meel are arguably the oldest strength training tool in the world.
