Cancellations & Refunds
Refunds shall be granted in accordance with the following guidelines:
- In-person workshops
- More than 30 days written notice for international workshops = Full refund
- Within 30 days notice for international workshops = Partial refund (minus a $150 cancellation fee)
- Online workshops
- More than 7 days written notice = Full refund
- Within 7 days written notice = Partial refund (minus a $50 admin fee)
- On the day of workshop = No refund
- Refunds will be made within 14 days of receiving the written request
- No refund will be issued after transferring your enrollment to another practical session
- Participants that do not attend, are late for their scheduled course, or are in breach of the code of conduct will forfeit all payments
- All requests for refunds must be received in writing to Persian Yoga or via email to info@persianyoga.com
Deferment/ hold Policy
If you wish to place your enrollment on hold due to situations that may prevent you from completing your qualification, then you are eligible for deferment for a maximum of 3 months. Applications for deferment must be made in writing to Persian Yoga info@persianyoga.com. There is a deferment fee of $50 for each instance and request.
Extenuating Circumstances
Individual cases of extenuating circumstances will be considered on a case by case merit. Extenuating circumstances may include but not be limited to: Sickness or death in the immediate family. Individual serious medical circumstance. A medical certificate or other equivalent documentation must be provided as evidence.
Reassessment fees
You will have one chance to resubmit the video practical assessment for each qualification. After this, any other subsequent resubmissions will incur a reassessment fee of $75.
Re issuing of certificates
Re-issuing of a formal certificate and statement of attainment will attract a $25 fee and will only be issued once all course payments have been made in full.
Appeals Procedure
You may request a Not Yet Competent (NYC) assessment result to be reviewed for up to three working days from receipt of the result. Requests for a review of an assessment item must be made in writing to Persian Yoga info@persianyoga.com
Disciplinary Procedures
Students who are found acting outside our code of conduct may be disciplined by a member of staff. Any student who commits a breach of discipline or is deemed as presenting a significant risk to themselves or others may not be able to continue their study and will be asked to leave and will forfeit all payments.
Grievance Procedure
All grievances/appeals will be treated with confidentiality and will not be detrimental to the student initiating the complaint. For any grievance or complaint, e-mail info@persianyoga.com
Code of Conduct & Ethical Practice
As a Registrant, you are required to comply with our Code of Conduct & Ethical Practice.
Registrants will:
- Persian Yoga Registrants will be respectful towards their instructors and teachers as well as of their clients and of their rights as individuals
- dress modestly for the duration of their attendance and participation in the workshops and associated training sessions
- handle all equipment and tools with care and respect
- respect people’s individuality and diversity and provide equal and fair treatment to all without discrimination
- avoid any inappropriate behaviour and language in all teacher, student and client relationships, ensuring physical contact is appropriate and necessary and undertaken with the client’s approval respect the skills, training and expertise of other professionals and institutions
- should not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs or medications that can cause impaired judgment and reaction time
- should ensure, when publishing articles or comments, that it is clear whether they are representing the Persian Yoga or whether they are making a personal comment
- refrain from spreading false or misleading information, whether written, spoken or implied
- refrain from intentionally compromising the professional reputation of any other member or participant
- never provide false or misleading information about their skills or qualifications
- should promote Persian Yoga and protect and enhance its reputation
- should strive to represent the Pahlavani (Persian Yoga) culture and values of chivalry, humility, courage, self-respect and respect for others and strength of character & integrity
